A retrospective exhibition which spans the career of Anne Allanson from the 1960’s as an architectural draughts-person working for Sir Donald Gibson in Warwickshire, Walter Gropius in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Sir Basil Spence OM RA in London to her gaining her degree in Fine Art in 1982 where 

she was taught in the abstract expressionistic tradition by the likes of Harry Thubron, Miles Richmond and Graham Boyd.

 

This grounding in turn led to Anne to teaching mature students in Barnet Collage, Hatfield Courtyard for the Arts and the University of Hertfordshire.

 

She moved to Norwich in 2008 and became a member of the 20Group in 2013.

Sadly she passed away in September 2024.
